Ihsan Magazine - The biggest Facebook nations in Asia are Indonesia, Philippines and India and they account for more than 52 percent of all Facebook users in the continent.
There are a total of 150 million Facebook users in Asia, according to SocialBakers. In other words, about 1 out of every 5 Internet user owns a Facebook account. Indonesia is also the second largest Facebook nation in the world, surpassing U.K a couple of months ago. As the number of Internet users in Asia continues to grow, Facebook will also rise with the trend.
However, Facebook addictive level isn’t high in the top 3 nations in Asia. iCrossing, the creator of the infographic, took data from Google Ad Planner to study the number of return visits. Turned out, Indonesia, Philippines and India don’t frequent Facebook as much as the Western counterparts. Interestingly, India’s Facebook users are male dominated. But we also reported that there is a rising trend of female users in India as well.
