Call of Duty:Black Ops DLC “Escalation” Trailer

Black Ops fans have been in heaven with the constant stream of DLC for Treyarch’s latest game. We’ve now got the first trailer for Black Op’s latest map pack “Escalation.”
Call of Duty:Black Ops DLC Escalation Trailer
The new DLC will come with 5 maps total, four are multiplayer maps and the other a brand new Nazi Zombies map. Zoo, Hotel, Convoy, and Stockpile are the four extremely varied maps.

“Zoo” takes place in a deserted soviet zoo. It features a monorail that you can traverse and it will go through the entire map. Giving a vantage point to anyone who decides to utilize it.
“Hotel” is inspired by the vistas in Havana. It’s a dated looking hotel with a lot of paths and passage ways for flanking along with a casino area that tight quartered and run and gun players will love. There’s even an elevator players can take to get to higher ground. It’s pretty cool.
“Convoy” is an old school Americana locale with a motel and diner that really makes the map feel like it’s from the 60′s and 70′s era. An American convoy was ambushed by Russian soldiers on a long freeway. Snipers will love this elongated straight path.
“Stockpile” is a snowy village that has the most diversity in terms of gameplay. There’s a building in the center of this Cold War style type of map is the heart of the level. This level requires a lot of team coordination due to an automated garage door that leads to a crucial area of the level. Keep control of that and your team will see a lot of victories.
The trailer doesn’t show any footage from the zombie map, but you can expect it to be just a cool as the others we’ve seen in the past.
Here’s the trailer for the Escalation Map Pack below. It will be available on the Xbox 360 May 3rd. Who’s excited for the map pack? Let us know in the comments.

The 10 Greatest Star Wars Toys That Hasbro Hasn't Remade

Ihsan Magazine - If you grew up with the original Star Wars trilogy you are well aware that for a time Kenner was king. Showing an amazing blend of faith and foresight, the company picked up the license for Star Wars before anyone could have possibly imagined how huge it would be, and how it would forever change both movie marketing and the toy industry in general. From 1978 to 1985, Kenner dominated the toy world with their various action figures, vehicles and role-playing items from George Lucas' game-changing space epic.

After a period of dormancy, Star Wars toys came back with a vengeance in 1995, but many toys that were originally released in the 1980s have come back onto store shelves better than ever before... with a few exceptions. Focusing mainly on playsets (the red-headed stepchild of the toy world), today's Daily List examines what great Star Wars toys Hasbro hasn't gotten around to re-releasing as of yet. Even though most of these probably never will be available again, that doesn't mean you can't make like the end of Return of the Jedi and celebrate the love.

10) Ewok Assault Catapult
Ewok Assault Catapult.jpg
One of the good things about the prequels is that they let the Ewoks off the hook. Beloved by furries everywhere, the spunky merchandising ploys have now been eclipsed on the lameness scale by Jar Jar, the various bullshit pod racers and Dexter Jettster (seriously, fuck him and that horrible waitress droid who is pushing Jawa Juice in that insufferable Episode II diner scene). The point I am making here is that although Star Warriors love to ridicule the Ewoks, they did inspire some decent toys -- including this catapult that lets you hurl plastic rocks at loved ones and shitty things. These are kind of tough to get cheap these days, but I'm tempted to scour eBay to buy one so that I can throw a boulder at my Taun We figure. Why the hell did I buy that anyway? Moving on...

9) Land of the Jawas
Once you get over the sexual subtext that the above commercial is lousy with, you'll be struck by the sheer cojones that Kenner had in the 1980s by releasing toys aplenty with flimsy cardboard backdrops. Starting with the whole Early Bird offer to the Cantina and Jabba's Palace mail-away offers from the 1990s, these cardboard bits of fun are the product of a simpler age. They are primitive to be sure, but so charmingly low-tech that they lets kids imaginations run wild. If the shape and concept of this toy looks familiar to you, that's because Kenner recycled the mold for their Hoth Ice Planet adventure set (with an Empire-specific new background, natch). Cheap? Yep! Easily destroyed? You betcha. Incredibly awesome? Without a doubt. Given the advances in the production of action figures over the years it would be a fun idea to re-release these sorts of sets via mail-away so that collectors could juxtapose recent figures with these retro relics.

8) Imperial Troop Transporter
Thanks to some brilliant design work by Ralph McQuarrie, stormtroopers became iconic sci-fi bad guys. It's hard to improve upon perfection, but the Imperial Troop Transport manages to make the troopers even cooler by giving them a cool ride. (Even if the toy is basically the galaxy far, far away equivalent of a boardwalk tram car). This was one of the vehicles that Kenner insisted existed just off-screen of what was seen in Star Wars. Frankly, I always thought that line was just company rhetoric to further milk George Lucas' cash cow. But this I can totally imagine being real. You've seen how lazy storm troopers are when they are on the job, do you really think they are going to walk to the Death Star commissary by themselves?

7) Ewok Village
Those of you who were irked at the tenth entry on this list may want to skip ahead, because more Ewok love is in store here. As the badass UK commercial embedded above indicates, this toy is pretty crammed with play possibilities. Even if you hate the idea of Ewoks (don't get me wrong I think they were a misstep -- but Return of the Jedi has lots of other problems that are equally, if not more so, worthy of your hate) you've got to admit the idea of being able to burn action figures at the spit is pretty fantastic. Not to mention terrifically un-PC. I can't imagine this action feature being issued in a toy today. While you have a better chance of getting Lucas to publicly admit that Phantom Menace was terrible than having this playset released again, it's worth noting that it did in fact get an unexpected reissue -- as the Sherwood Forest playset in Kenner's 1991 Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves line. Although many of you wonderful nerds probably already knew that. I'm not sure if I should applaud or pity those of you who did.

6) Chewbacca Bandolier Strap
Chewbacca Bandolier Strap.jpg
Frankly I'm a bit surprised that this toy hasn't become a fashion staple amongst hipsters. That said, I can't imagine any young Star Wars fans wouldn't want to transport their figures around on this. Perhaps Chewie's recent Clone Wars appearance may inspire Hasbro to dust this concept off for a new generation.

5) Dagobah Action Playset
A few years back, Hasbro issued a mail-away Carbon Freeze Playset offer. It was a terrific, if somewhat odd, toy that allowed kids/adult collectors to relive one of The Empire Strikes Back's pivotal scenes. The company also released scaled down remakes of the 1980s Hoth sets in the early days of their revamped Star Wars line. Sadly they never got around to reissuing a Dagobah playset. I mentioned earlier the fun potential of using new figures with old playsets (just to clarify: by using, I mean displaying, not playing with while naked and alone late on a Saturday night). Since there have been some terrific Dagobah-inspired figures issued since this toy debuted in 1981, it would be great to have a new playset to accompany these. But there isn't and will never be. Just trying to use tough love here people so you can lower your expectations, move on and not wind up being a shell of a man like myself.

4) Jabba The Hutt Dungeon
Jabba Dungeon.jpg
Originally available as a Sears exclusive, this toy encouraged kids to be complete bastards and torture the shit out of their toys. There's no way your response to this can be anything other than respect and applause.

3) Tauntaun (With Open Belly)
Realizing that fans desperately wanted to recreate the scene in which Han Solo slits open a Tauntaun to protect Luke as he builds an icy shelter, Kenner released a variant of the beast with an open belly (okay, it was a great way for them to make some extra coin as well). Nevertheless, such attention to detail reinforces how committed the company was to pleasing kids by releasing durable, fun toys with hours of play value. If memory serves, most of my 1982 was spent with the tauntaun here in my possession -- much to the dismay of some unenlightened teachers. Oddly enough, when the tauntaun was re-released in 1998 the open belly variant was nixed. You're guess is as good as mine as to why, I'm just fortunate that I didn't miss out on this bizarre little action feature during my adolescence. Also I should add that the endless screaming of "WAMPA" in the above commercial thrills me endlessly.

2) Bespin World
Kenner's Micro Collection playsets were a risky move. Their small size meant that pieces could be easily lost/swallowed. Parents were pissed that they had to shell out for an entirely new (and somewhat costly) line of Star Wars figures when they were already regularly buying the 3 ¾-sized ones. There was also the problem of Kenner being in direct competition with themselves. Thus the old adage about having too much of a good thing proved to be true once again, and the Micro Collection line died a fairly quick death. It's grandiose to say that this is something of a tragedy for toy collectors, but it really was unfortunate. You see, the Micro Collection sets were insanely fun, even despite lacking articulation and much detail. Of the sets that made it on to toy shelves, Bespin World was arguably the best. These sort of small toys later became the domain of Micro Machines (which issued some pretty great Star Wars offerings themselves when they had the license) so there's no hope of seeing the Micro line revisited. But for the blink of an eye, Star Wars fans had access to sets that were bursting with innovation. Its demise is still taken particularly hard, especially given how much this stuff goes for on the secondary market. Trivia: If I had a time machine, the first thing I would do is travel back to Kiddie City circa 1983 and scoop all these up on clearance. Butterfly effect or not, I need these things in my lame excuse for a life.

1) Death Star Space Station Playset
It's not surprising that Kenner's toy mockup of the Death Star tops this list, as the toy is the greatest playset of all time. What often gets lost in nerdy debates that lists like this one bring up is that toys are mainly for kids. And for kids growing up when Star Wars first hit, this massive playset was a revelation. Its various levels and action features meant that you could spend entire days restaging favorite scenes from the flick and creating new adventures. It was the yin to the action figures' yang. Both worked together so sublimely that the result was pure childhood magic. Like most of the items on this list, Hasbro hasn't remade the Death Star because if they did it wouldn't sell that well. Sure, collectors would flock to it, but the mainstream consumers tend to stay away from costly playsets. (If you want proof, just go to any Toys R Us and check out all the Indiana Jones Temple of Akator playsets that are collecting dust there). There have been individual Death Star Escape and Detention Block Rescue sets reissued since the Star Wars line started back up in 1995, but these pale in comparison to the plastic behemoth that is the original Death Star set. I never owned one of these myself, and while I have considered buying one from time to time I ultimately decide against it. Why? Because as much as we try the childhood fun of the Death Star can't be recaptured by either getting one on eBay on having Hasbro manufacture a brand new version. Of course I thought that before I saw the reissue of the Millennium Falcon too, so what the hell do I know.

Angry Birds + Star Wars

Top 10 Sega Dreamcast Games

http://gamrfeed.vgchartz.com/galleries/2011-04-17/dreamcast-top-10/dreamcast-top-10_1303088235.jpg
Ihsan Magazine - still remember this one game console? yupzzzzzz! for you are a gamer in 80ers - 90ers must remember with console games pioneered by sega
History Lesson:
The SEGA Dreamcast was a system that many would say was way ahead of its time and a system many would argue was taken from us far too young. Before it was cool to participate in online gaming on a console, Dreamcast had it. Before it was cool to speak to your games, Dreamcast had a microphone. Because of a grand list of shenanigans on everyone’s part, the Dreamcast crumbled due to the unstoppable juggernaut that was the PS2. Love it or hate it, Sega’ s last hurrah was an innovative system with its share of great games.

and here is the list of top ten ! lets cekidot :)

http://gamrfeed.vgchartz.com/galleries/2011-04-17/dreamcast-top-10/dreamcast-top-10_1303088236.jpg
10. Crazy Taxi
Crazy Taxi was so popular that it not only got ports to other systems, but started a new genre basically, one that we can clearly see in the Simpson’s Road Rage. The main objective of the game is to pick up customers and take them to their chosen destination as fast as possible. If this sounds easy, well you haven’t played Crazy Taxi.

9. Power Stone 2
Most fighting games feature a one-on-one contest between two opponents. Power Stone adds to this formula by giving you the ability to pick up and fight with such objects as tables, chairs, rocks and bombs. Power Stone was one of the first fighting games to implement a free roaming fighting experience with weapons in the environment, and do it well.

8. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
Of the three home versions of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (X-box, PS2 and DC) The Dreamcast version is the closest to the arcade version, due to its hardware being similar to that of a NAOMI arcade motherboard. If there was a definitive home version of Marvel vs Capcom 2, it was the Dreamcast Version.

7. Resident Evil: Code Veronica
The most underrated over game in the Resident Evil franchise, Code Veronica carries over everything that made Resident Evil 3 such a success. This includes 180 degree turning and fully 3d backgrounds, not pre-rendered mattes. The game is set three months after the events depicted in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The plot moves away from Raccoon City and onto Rockfort Island, a solitary private isle owned by the Umbrella Corporation.
http://gamrfeed.vgchartz.com/galleries/2011-04-17/dreamcast-top-10/dreamcast-top-10_1303087963.jpg
6. Shenmue
When many think of the Dreamcast, one game comes to mind – Shenmue. Shenmue had many features completely unheard of at the time of release. Yu Suzuki, the creator of the game, coined a genre that he called "FREE" meaning Full Reactive Eyes Entertainment at the time of release. Shenmue plays out a lot like a typical adventure game, but aspects of the FREE system make the game immensely more immersive.
http://gamrfeed.vgchartz.com/galleries/2011-04-17/dreamcast-top-10/dreamcast-top-10_1303088234.jpg
5. Jet Grind Radio
Cel-shading may be passé today, and even scoffed at by some, but in 1999 it was amazingly revolutionary, and no other game did cel-shading like Jet Grind Radio. The game itself tells a bizarre story of a skater named Beat trying to use tagging and skating as a form of self-expression in a dystopian world. Jet Grind Radio also featured a fairly well reviewed soundtrack featuring many popular pop, techno and even rock songs to assist you on your voyage to fight the man.
http://gamrfeed.vgchartz.com/galleries/2011-04-17/dreamcast-top-10/dreamcast-top-10_1303087962.jpg
4. Skies of Arcadia
The story in Skies of Arcadia focuses around Vyse, a young sky pirate in a Jules Verne-inspired fantasy world, and his friends as they attempt to stop the Valuan Empire from reviving ancient weapons with the potential to destroy the world. The game was later ported to the Gamecube, but the true version of the game was the original.
http://gamrfeed.vgchartz.com/galleries/2011-04-17/dreamcast-top-10/dreamcast-top-10_1303087964.jpg
3. Shenmue 2
Sadly, many gamers had to wait a LONG time for this game to come out in the west, this was especially true in the United States, as the game finally came out on the original Xbox long after the Dreamcast release. Shenmue II begins shortly after the first installment of Shenmue concluded. While the first game told the story of the first chapter of the saga, the second game tells the story of the second, third, and fourth chapters.
2. Soul Calibur
The follow up to Soul Edge/Soul Blade was a big surprise, and is still looked at as one of the best fighting games of all time, only bested by its eventual sequel Soul Calibur 2. Sporting a healthy dose of weapons based combat, this is the fighting game that many franchises wanted to be last generation.
http://gamrfeed.vgchartz.com/galleries/2011-04-17/dreamcast-top-10/dreamcast-top-10_1303087961.jpg
1. Sonic Adventure
It had to happen, there had to be a Sonic game on our list. Sonic Adventure is arguably the best 3d Sonic game on the market according to fans of the series. Not only was the game well received, but it still holds the crown for the best selling Dreamcast game... EVER!

DOTA 2 akan dirilis 2011

Ihsan Magazine - Game favorit untuk LAN Party, Defense of The Ancient alias DoTA akan dibuatkan sekuelnya bernama DoTA 2.

Apa Saja Isi DoTA 2?

World of Warcraft Gamer Leveled to 85 Without Killing or Questing

Nobody would’ve even tried or have the patience to level their characters in WoW without killing or not questing but, somehow, a player by the name of ‘Everbloom’ has achieved this by just mining, herbing, and archeaology to reach the max level of 85. Yup, Everbloom used only professions for months to get the Druid to max level 85.
Everbloom does recommend players to try to do it too, saying it:
“really gives you a chance to see an amazing world up close and personal.
If you like to explore, and enjoy a challenge I really REALLY recommend this, I have been playing since day 1 on other characters and I even have an original Loremaster (you know, back when it was hard) and I saw so MANY new things with Everbloom that it really made it worthwhile for me to continue on with this character, and each level was a major achievement!”
Asked how long the achievement took, Everbloom added, “Oh I try not to look at days played. First rule about number of days played is we don’t talk about number of days played! hehe.” The character was created last November, so I’m suspecting about 5 months.
It’s great to hear and read someone capable of doing this, but I wouldn’t like to try it myself. I am just that type of person that needs to kill something in World of Warcraft, otherwise there wouldn’t be much point in playing it.

Browser Game Pick: GIRP (Ben Foddy)

GIRP.PNG
Ihsan Magazine - From the twisted mind that brought us QWOP comes GIRP, yet another game that is near impossible to play, and yet... why can't I stop? Because I need to get higher, damn it, that's why.
GIRP demands you press your keyboard letters to grab rings and pull your guy up, but you'll also need to hold either Shift or Ctrl to pull yourself up to. Fingers everywhere, which ring to pick, brain hurting, meltdown - this is roughly the order in which your first few games will take. Eventually you'll work out how to climb higher, and all the while it is utterly hilarious.
Do not delay - play this now.

6 Theme Song Game Paling Memorable Di Dunia

Ihsan Magazine -

Halo theme song + master chief in action = you gonna love it!

5. Zelda theme (legend of zelda)

The 10 Best Stories In Video Games

http://cdn1.gamepro.com/article_img/gamepro/154088-1-1.jpg
Ihsan Magazine - The American philosopher Eric Hoffer once said, “Man is eminently a storyteller.” The aphorism holds true even in video games. Game makers spend months and months kicking around ideas, and whether or not they opt for a first-person shooter, a role-playing experience, or a third-person romp, it all starts with story.
The advancement of graphics and sound has allowed the industry to craft narratives like never before, pitting the controller-laden onlookers against immeasurable odds and casting them within grandiose battles between good and evil. And as the game industry matures, more and more storytellers from other media are getting involved—last week's Homefront was originally penned by screenwriter John Milius (who wrote Red Dawn, Apocalypse Now, and others), and this week's Crysis 2 story was written by sci-fi author Richard Morgan (if you haven't read his Altered Carbon, do yourself a favor). So it's only right that we run down the 10 story-driven games that made our palms sweat, our pupils dilate, and in some cases left our hearts palpitating. Or it may have been minor heart attacks. Either way, we're still here.

10. Final Fantasy VI (SNES/PS, 1994)

Disregarding the still-raging argument within the gamer community about whether VI or VII was the better Final Fantasy game, we're putting our money on the former. Released in the States as Final Fantasy III, Square Enix (then still only Square) really put the Super Nintendo through the grinder by focusing on the details that make storytelling great: plot, music and character development. The story focuses on a war between The Empire and the Returners (rebels), which is a riff on the Star Wars canon is we've ever heard one. Take the shot, Luke!

9. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PS3/360/PC, 2006)

It's hard to imagine how game creators are able to create such lengthy games in just a couple of years, which is why Bethesda's fourth installment of their Elder Scrolls series ranks so high here. If you're into long-winding stories, look no further: Oblivion is our favorite story of the game developer's series, which almost single-handedly made the first-person RPG a viable mainstream genre. For the sake of time and space (the game is several dozens of hours long), just know that you and your swords, amulets, and power rings beat the medieval snot out of the Mythic Dawn, a cult that successfully kills the Emperor's sons and opens up portals to what looks a lot like hell. At least that's what the little imps that want to eat you say.

8. God of War series (PS2/PS3, 2005-2010)

The No. 9 video game character of all time should take heart that the video game series that writes his paychecks has fared a bit better, sliding in a slot higher. Kratos goes questing to avenge his own death and betrayal at the hands of his father, Zeus, while beating back the Titans who also want to rip Olympus' god-in-chief a new one. Long story short, there's a lot of blood spilled, eyeballs gouged, and threesome had in this one, making it an instant fan favorite.

7. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox/PC, 2003)

What's this? An extension of the Star Wars brand that didn't make us feel shame? Yes, please! BioWare's take on the popular sci-fi universe was a sight for sore eyes as, gamers had been subjected to various interactive incarnations that just didn't sit well. Not the case here—KOTOR introduced us to Darth Malak, a Dark Lord of the Sith who has commandeered a legion of Sith minions against the Republic. The Republic's fate lies with you, a starfighting veteran with a bad case of amnesia who can either utilize good or evil to achieve goals, with each branching path of morality leading to a unique plot-twist ending.

6. Resident Evil series (Various, 1996- )

The series has had its ups and downs, but Resident Evil has spent the past 15 years showing what a bunch of strapped-to-the-gills cops can do to an army of braindead villagers in Raccoon City. The epic saga of the Umbrella Corporation's failed T-virus initiative has led to five main games depicting confrontations that tie together at various points in the storyline, as well as numerous spin-offs that give a little bit more background on the shady dealings of the medical conglomerate. As canonical a universe as you'll find in gaming.

5. Silent Hill 2 (PS2/Xbox/PC, 2001)

Each title in the Silent Hill franchise may have its own stand-alone story, but each is set in the mysterious town of Silent Hill. The town symbolized not just a really crappy place in the Northeast Corridor (we're guessing somewhere in Vermont), but also a place that pitted each protagonist against their own thoughts and nightmares. We think, almost without question, that Konami's second in the series was the best in doing so, where James Sunderland arrives at Silent Hill to investigate the sad passing of his wife. In doing so, he unleashes the monsters of Silent Hill, built from his own hopes and fears, and helps to add to the game's fantastic story. Pants-wetting enthusiasts need apply. Unless it's the fetish kind, in which case maybe not.

4. Half-Life series (PC, 1998- ; PS3/360, 2007- )

The cool factor of physicists everywhere jumped by a factor of ten when Valve released their debut first-person shooter title in 1998, breaking the mold for how video game scripts were put together. Their main man, Gordon Freeman, has become an icon of the industry, as his story of survival of an alien invasion in the Black Mesa Research Facility and the subsequent enslavement of the human race by the Combine was told without the use of any cutscenes whatsoever—which were normally a crutch for weak storytellers. We're still waiting for Half-Life 2: Episode 3, which would be the *counting on fingers* fifth title in the series, and then maybe we can finally start the HL3 discussions.

3. Metal Gear Solid series (PS/PS2/PS3, 1998-

Trying to process all of the franchise's plot minutiae would probably turn the sanest of fellows into a tiger-blood-addled maniac, so we'll spare you the details. Nevertheless, political intrigue and global conspiracies don't come better than this. While the series admittedly took a slight tumble with the second title (where protagonist duties were taken up by Raiden instead of Solid Snake), Konami's flagship third-person stealth games took interactive cinema to a whole other level, especially in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, which capped the storyline. That's the one with the 60-minute-long cut scenes (which admittedly turned the "game" into more of a watching experience). Still, the choreography, directed by legendary game developer Hideo Kojima, helped to advance the medium's storytelling potential like no other titles before.

2. Chrono Trigger (SNES, 1995)

The game opens with the swinging arm of a clock tick-tocking—ironic, since anyone who grew up on Chrono Trigger knows that once you start playing, you can kiss your free time goodbye. Square Enix's legendary role-playing game depicts the life and times of Crono and his six other buddies as they battle through time in order to prevent the world's destruction at the hands, er, claws, er, giant vagina of Lavos. It's considered one of the best SNES games of all time, and is one of the first to have multiple endings based on the various choices and scenarios within the game. In other words, you can blame your multiple Mass Effect playthroughs on this.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64, 1998)

Unforgettable tales of good versus evil are hard to come by, but in 1998, Nintendo released what would become the almost unanimous pick for the best video game ever created.  Link and Ganondorf clash once again as the fate of the Triforce, which houses unimaginable and godly powers, is up for grabs and Hyrule princess Zelda is kidnapped (as all good video game princess are). Ocarina of Time is a magical story that pushed the N64's capabilities to the limit in delivering fantastic sound effects, music, graphics, and attention to detail, making it out pick for the best story in all of gaming.
