I was planning on going there early morning or the apple store. I'm not sure where I'll have a better shot getting a phone. Will the ATT store have enough iphones available?

Hit command-j at the desktop and you'll get something that looks like this. Check 'Show Item Info' and you're good to go. :)
jeffzoom91: someone's familiar with TonyMac's site. *grin*
Now if I could only figure out how to keep this thing overclocked to 4.4ghz without making the clock run like it's on meth it'll be perfect!
Hey COOL!
Its nice to see a Portuguese monument in this thread. I loved visiting Palcio da Pena in Sintra.
I'll always remember this as the place that cracked my original iPhone 2G's screen :D

I still need to call LAN lines for work and A-list for FamilyTalk is now available on the Nation 700 plan. I switched today by calling ATT but online they are not letting it go through yet. They said this will work online soon, but calling 611 they are setting it up today for me. Went from $89.99 to $69.99, saving $20 per month and keeping my A-list!
I checked online, and it says you need FamilyTalk 1400 2100 plans for A-List. Guess it's not updated yet?

iPhone 4 for both me and the girlfriend. We decided to consolidate our phone bills, and FaceTime was a primary deciding factor for her. Decided to keep it light on the gifts this year with the addition of a new car, apartment/furniture, and a puppy.

Hi everyone,
I've jailbroken my iPhone for the last 8 months, but have upgraded and been using it normally.
However, today when I turned it to vibrate, the bell with the line showed up on the screen, but on the top right hand corner next to the battery symbol, there was no indication that it was on vibrate mode. Is this normal (i may have forgotten)? Is the symbol just for jailbroken phones? I suddenly noticed this so I am not sure. I have asked around people, but gotten no help. Thanks in advance. Sorry for the stupid question.

I'll go out on a limb here and say you are a fan of Marvel comic books.;)
Not the biggest fan TBH but I have always been a fan of comic book art...
...indeed, busier than my normal wallpapers but the colors pop on my screen and it looks rad imo. :D

I would be surprised if we saw a 64 bit fcp before Lion. Apples qtkit API, which is thie only QuickTime API that you can compile in 64 bit, is really, REALLY primitive. Its going to require massive updating befor you would even think of running something like fcp with it. You cannot do anything more advanced than splice two videos together with it now. Hell even enumerating all th e codecs you can export to requires going down to 32 bits, and even the stuff that does compile in 64 bit requires a separate 32 bit process to actually do the work. T e sad thing is that apple has had plenty of time to update this API but they have essentially done nothing with it, which shows you how much they care about the pro users nowadays
Or they did a lot of stuff with it already, just not showing it yet. Since the current release of FCP does not use QTX, they don't need to release the updated API before the next gen FCP. I really doubt Apple just shelved the whole QTX after doing a rewrite for SL, they must have been iterating it since then.
And about Premiere being better than FCP, I'm not an expert on this but aren't the Apple ProRes codecs the main reason people go with FCP? And Premiere does not offer anything close in terms of codecs.

Are your additions to Intel iBook (Rumored) really necessary? They're mostly just repeating what's already been stated earlier in the article, and are misleadingly definitive for a rumor.

I'm just curious, who would be interested in purchasing silver replacement keys for their unibody MacBooks and apple keyboards?
If anyone is interested please reply to this thread stating that you would LOVE silver keys and how much you'd be willing to spend on a full set of keys.
Thanks

Can anyone recommend an app that does with video what iPhoto does with photos? It should have a library of thumbnails, folders, search, the ability to display most video types, not just limited to QuickTime, ability to drag and drop files which create aliases, etc.
Basically iPhoto for videos. Oh yeah, and free (my guess is it ain't gonna happen for free).
Thanks!

I recently designed publicity for the play, HARVEY. Many might be aware of the movie of the same name starring Jimmy Stewart. The play is about an eccentric guy who starts seeing this 6-foot White Rabbit that wears human clothing. Is he crazy or does he really have a new best friend?
The actual poster is here (http://www.gowan.us/harvey). It was put together with eight different source photos.

But see you are not leaving AT&T now, you are leaving T-Mobile.
There are a number of att customers who find the service mediocre at best, but are willing to put up with it, verizon may be better. Still others didn't know att would be that bad but where stuck into contracts, and it worked well enough to justify waiting and not paying the termination fee. Furthermore, there are plenty of people who have no problems with att, but media hype and aggressive advertising has convinced them they do have a problem, so they will switch. I'm sticking with ATT, it has worked great for years and years for me.

Well in that case, there's a clear line that a non-black person doesn't say that to a black person. It's not like the referee had an "I'm Gay" sticker on his shirt.
I mean, what about saying..."omg...that is sooo gay" when describing a non-cool object or situation. Is that "gay bashing" too? I mean, this is getting to such a point where you can say anything that "might" offend some overlysensitive person...becomes a racist, sexual harrassment, hate, etc offense. I mean, some things are understood to be coloquial amoung pop culture.
I hear what you are saying, and I certainly didn't mean to imply that I'm not guilty of the same things. I've been using "gay" as a negative adjective for 30 years, like a lot of other people. But every time I do it, I think of what my very close gay friends would say about me using it that way. Whether they specifically would be offended by it is one thing, but the point is that it just isn't right to commandeer that word and use it as an insult or detractor when there really is no reason that it should be.
In this case, maybe you, me, and all of us need to work on changing pop culture and getting it out of a grade-school mentality. As long as Kobe was fined because he did a piss-poor job of acting professionally and as a role model rather than just "hurting the ref's feelings," that's a start.
